Wine tastings, charming train rides and visiting the Venice of Portugal
We will teach you everything about the wonderful Portuguese wines known throughout the world. During this tour you will be able to follow the trail of the famous Portuguese vineyards. We provide you not only tastings, with us you can learn to produce wine and get to know its history. Explore the most famous brand of wines from Douro, Alentejo and many others. Enjoy the best of wines on a romantic private dinner or take part in group workshops.The Portuguese vineyards are situated in the most picturesque regions, which allows us not only to delight in the taste of the wine, but also admire the beautiful landscapes.
Day 1
Porto: Capital of the North
Arrival at the airport and transfer to hotel¹. Our city tour starts with visits to the most emblematic places in town.
Lunch break. The tour continues in the lower part of town: Ribeira. Weather permitting, a 6 Bridges Cruise is waiting for you. Then, back in Gaia, you will find the famous House of Sandeman where you can enjoy the spectacular panoramic view over Porto's historic city center after a presentation of the fascinating history of Port Wine.
Dinner at Ribeira with river view (supplement).
Then you can enjoy Porto's nightlife...
Return to the hotel¹ and overnight.
Day 2
Harvest Experience in Douro
Breakfast. Check-Out. Meeting at Sao Bento Station for a train journey.
You will travel in an exclusive wagon on the Douro line, said to be the most beautiful rail journey in Portugal.
Arrival at Régua and transfer to the hotel². Time to rest and visit of Quinta do Mourão. You will experience a Wine Safari, including Port Wine tasting directly from casks.
Return to the hotel², dinner (supplement) and overnight.
Day 3
Bairrada | Dão Challenge
Breakfast. Departure to the Dão region. Time to visit Quinta da Mata Fidalga, known for its particular sparkling wine that you will have the opportunity to taste.
Lunch break. Departure to the hotel³.
Check-In. Time to freshen up.
Your journey will continue at the Aliança Underground Museum. Here you see the Aliança's private collection and will have the challenge of your journey: you will taste and discover different wine aromas... your enjoyment is guaranteed!
Dinner at Casa dos Leitões (included).
Return to the hotel and overnight.
Day 4
Aveiro & Moliceiro Boat
Breakfast and check-out the hotel³.
Departure to Aveiro: you'll discover the Portuguese Venice. Enjoy a Moliceiro Boat trip, taste some delicious 'Ovos Moles' (Soft Eggs) and Bairrada sparkling wine while the boat sails along the city canals. Then, we visit the colorful Costa Nova do Prado houses near the beach. On the way to Porto, we will also visit Ovar, a typical ancient city. Check-in at hotel⁴ in Porto in the evening.

Day 5
Departure
Breakfast at the hotel⁴. Check-out.
Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to the airport.
