Option 1 – Nature and Relax

Oporto & North of Portugal

You will stay in a recently opened hotel just outside Oporto and Douro. Enjoy a design hotel with all the facilities that combine accommodation, relaxation (the hotel has a spectacular spa) with city touring.

From all the activities offered by this hotel, many are related to wine, particularly the 'Vinho Verde', the jewel of the local wineyards. They offer many activities during the harvest season but also others available all year, such as the famous 'be a winemaker for a day' package.

The local cuisine is also an important part of the culture, often called the 'soul' of the North. The Portuguese people consider the Northern Cuisine as one of the richest and most varied in the country.

Therefore, here we propose you to learn the secrets of this wonderful cuisine in a combination of activities:
- Tasting and preparation of the many styles of 'Vinho Verde'
- Preparation of 3 traditional recipes, stylish and sophisticated gastronomy
- Food & Wine combinations

There are also other options specifically designed for families. You can share family moments around the kitchen (for the little ones we provide, of course, non-alcoholic beverages and less complex recipes).

Option 2 – Nature and Fun

Center of Portugal

This option offers a stay at a hotel, which is 1h30m away from Lisbon. You are invited to taste their dishes prepared with seasonal products of the region and herbs from their herb garden. Whether you come for the romantic setting, with a group of friends or for a business meeting or team-building session with work colleagues, the hotel will serve you one of the many botanic cocktails available.

They have seasonal menus to offer and cooking demonstrations by guest chefs. You have the chance to sample wines, cheeses and olive oils and make home-made bread. The children can take part too.

When you arrive, all the ingredients will be ready and you can let your imagination run wild as you prepare an unforgettable meal for someone special while you taste the wine of your choice. And of course, you don't have to worry about washing the dishes afterwards. You can also get the help of an assistant whenever you need one.

With contemporary cooking based on Portuguese traditions, the cuisine of the local chef prides itself on using the best local products, seasonal and organic ingredients from small local suppliers and on promoting sustainability and fair trade.

SPA: Imagine yourself immersed in a pool in the middle of the oak forest with the hills on the horizon and the water temperature alternating between cold (frigidarium), tepid (tepidarium) and warm (caldarium). It isn't a traditional spa, there are no jets, waterfalls, bubbles or sophisticated treatments, just a tranquil 'cocoon' in a special place for a maximum of 6 people.
